I don't like the name "The Event"

I mean, every major fight is suppose to be an event. This makes it sound like a carnival or a picnic or something, a tech expo at the most.

The Event was a terrible name for this card, I've seen some bad ones, this isn't the worst name, but its probably the least inspiring.

"Dude are you going to the event?!?"
"which one, lots of stuff is happening this weekend, but i'll probably go to that pacman fight"

Oh well.

Yeah it doesn't really effect whether or not i'll get the fight, I suppose in a way it was a good name to pick, cause i'll always remember that this fight was called "The Event" because the name was so ******. All other cards i forget the name usually about 20 minutes after the main event.

But seriously are they even trying anymore? Or perhaps all other names were taken.

It sort of makes me think theyre trying to sell it on being a big "event" rather than on the fight
