since when did numbers fit as exact as that of 300,000? I doubt if that is accurate, more of an estimate. 2nd, Luneta Park set up does not have the same jumbo screens as this for Pacquiao-Clottey. How did 300,000 people see the squared circle?

It indeed was an estimated count culled from reports at the time and most of the people there got in for free. The official record for a paid attendence is Chavez-Haugen.

Its very possible to fit 300,000 people in Luneta...
Greater Manila has a population of 20 million all packed in a tight 900 sq meters....

The espinosa fight in Manila has free seat you idi**s! thats why it reached 300,000 that includes the free seats at the back and people without seats!

There are even people on the roof of Houses and top of structures around the area. This is not number of tickets sold... Its attendance numbers.

Roofs in the Philippines are only slightly ramped and you can stand/sit on the roof.

he he this is true, IMHO the number maybe be bigger than 300k, it was free and I think their were big screen located in some vantage points ...

as I mentioned earlier Pope John Paul filled up luneta park to millions and he did it twice!
