Former boxing champion Tommy Morrison was arrested on a drug charge in downtown Wichita Thursday evening.

A Wichita police report said the 41-year-old boxer was taken into custody outside a fitness club at 125 N. Market after police received a report of a su****ious person. Police said Morrison was arrested without incident after 6:30.

Morrison, who now lives in Wichita, defeated George Foreman in 1993 to win the WBO heavyweight title. He finished his professional career with a record of 46-3-1 with 40 knockout. Morrison also starred in the movie "Rocky 5".

Yea I just read it on the local news hadnt seen it on here. Ive worked out at the gym he got arrested in front of, I might go down and see if he wants an ass whippin.

I just read another article, they found a pipe with some weed in it. He was down there in the hood and they thought he looked su****ious and called the police on him.

When I lived on the SouthSide I was smoking a cigarette outside and the police stopped and asked if I was trying to buy drugs. True story.
