    Roach perseveres, beats the odds

    FoxSports

    LOS ANGELES, Calif.

Just like his fighters, Freddie Roach continues to beat the odds.

Though Freddie Roach has worked with 25 champions, the case for the world's best trainer is usually made by the world's best fighter, Manny Pacquiao, who fights tough Ghanaian welterweight Joshua Clottey this Saturday night at Cowboys Stadium.

    Interesting article.

    Green K always appreciated.

Roach is a good man. I dont enjoy some of his promotion lately, but that is beside the point. People confuse that with his actual persona, in reality hes just a real dude, i respect that.

      I agree completely.

Gotta respect the way he can get into another fighter's head.

Roach deserves a great deal of respect.

I also like Roach. I just don't take his statements seriously because he's just like everybody else when it comes to promoting their fighter. I also don't like when people try make a genius out of him. But as a man I respect for him and find him funny at times..
