the thing is its not just guzman. floyd has live at the top of the fighters poll for 10 years. most fighters refer to floyd as the best.

OMG this guy is horrible. He can't even beat a B class fighter like Funeka. Who cares what this guy has to say. Another undefeated fighter who thinks he is good cause he fights scrubs. Over 30 fights and only one fighter worth mentioning and thats Soto. What a scrub LOL

wow you think ali funeka is a scrubby fighter? you just showed how little you know of boxing. funeka is an excellent boxer and a match up nightmare for most fighters in his class. he also has decent power.

No Juan Manuel Marquez is the best fighter in that division. Get it straight

if the two met in the ring i have funeka by ud. and thats no knock on jmm as he is a fantastic fighter. but funekas reach would be too much to over come

An old Nate Campbell overcame his 6'1 height and 72" reach if I recall......

and old nate cambell has been avoided by pac for a long time. nate still has more than enough for most of todays fighters.

Not a hater, but i still see Funeka slappin the **** outta Guzman AGAIN. 1st fight ended in a joke, this time though, i could see Funeka stopping the lil guy...Guzman is talented, but Funeka is bigger, stronger, younger and just as fast....i really dont see it ending any other way than in a Funeka "W"

Hmmm...I agree with most of what you said here except with the he is 'just as fast' comment. If Guzman has any advantage at all is his quick movement and hand speed. I don't think Funeka is as fast as Guzman at all. But that's just me.

Wow I think I got some ppl mad haha lol. Funeka isn't a scrub I said Guzman is. But Funeka is not a A class fighter come on now. JMM would take him. You hit Funeka in the body and he will become the same height. I am curious how Pacquiao is brought in to the subject though. Whoever said Pac is running from Campbell is an idiot. Pac is doing big things at 147 now so don't hate on Pac. Its going to be funny when Pac beats Clottey cause I wanna hear the race issue. He is going to beat a black fighter then what he was to black LOL. Hes not a black American fighter right?

I dont think Guzman is a lightweight anymore, he should fight at Jr WW ...

if he can make the weight then hes a lightweight, pluss he doesnt have enough power to compete at jr ww he'd be pretty beatable in that division with bradley and alexander thier nd ortiz etc.. but at lightweight that division is perfect for him right now. he said it himself its the dominican food that keeps him from keeping his weight down.. i kno how that feels. so him moving his camp to the uk was the best move

I think JMM is a tactician but I feel he is now on the decline and would have a real tough time with Funeka as well. Hell, he doesn't even move like Guzman does. Funeka's height and reach advantage would give him hell specially if Funeka manages to time him just right. It would probably be something similar to Khan v. Barrera except that Khan is faster then Funeka but I still say it would be similar. So, no I don't think JMM would take Funeka.
