i'm liking the possibility of pac stopping clottey form 8-10 rounds. not because he hurts him as much as he hurt cotto, but clottey won't run like cotto and will get hit more cleanly in the later rounds IMO
If Clottey lands shots like the one being shown in that capion then the fight will be an all out war. Those punches hurt Cotto pretty bad and his face looked like it after the fight. Freddy Roach is just being the ******* he always has been by downing other fighters. The only difference between him and Roger Mayweather is Roger doesn't care that people know he's an ******* but Roach tries to hide what he is.

Clottey will come in big and strong, but too immobile I think. Pacquiao's movement and angles will overwhelm him. Having said that, Clottey has all the motivation in the world for this fight because this is the fight that defines his career.

cotto wasn't wobbled in the 2nd round man. he was wobbled once in that fight. can't remember the round, but clottey landed a VICIOUS combo that clocked cotto around 5 times in a row. pacquiao has a much better chin and movement

clottey likes to wait for the opponent to finish their attack in order for him to initiate his. that **** won't work on manny, he NEEDS to force the fight and exchange with pacquiao. that's his only chance IMO

he could also land a head butt here and there, who knows!

motivation aside, I kinda get the feeling Clottey's way in over his head.

he can probably take Pacquiao's punch .. but I don't think Clottey has enough in his arsenal

Absorbing hundreds of punches from a lightning-fast southpaw with power in both hands is good reason to slow down.

Clottey is good, but he will be beaten to the punch, outworked, and possibly stopped.

Yeah Cotto knows all about Clottey's headbuttin ability. Clottey's head is almost bigger then the Cowboys Stadium. He also got familiar with his uppercuts 2. But who's uppercuts hasn't Cotto gotten familiar with???

Attackin Pacquaio plays right into his style of fighting. You have to counter punch Manny if yo want to have any success wih him. JMM showed that attacing Manny oly leaves you open for his left hand punch. You can't go on the attack with him or he will kill you to the punch every time. JMM made him pay every time he threw a punch and missed. I think Clottey is a better all around fighter than JMM so he will need to let Manny come to him and then unload with effective aggression.

clottey is NOWHERE near JMM's quality. he's inferior in counter punching, stamina, punch output/consistency, etc. clottey whoops him in 147 of course, but overall, he's far away from marquez skill wise. clottey has never KO'd any world class fighter. JMM KO'd bigger guys than him in casamayor and diaz, and gave hell twice to manny

in fact, that's precisely why i think clottey has such a slim chance against pacquiao. he won't KO him, and he's a far inferior counter puncher than JMM. add to that that he fades in the championship rounds and you got a 8:1 underdog in him
