I personally feel Boxing has been doing alright recently...

It seems as if there is a fight every week or every other week that has some potential, signifigance, or just fought at a high level.

    Tito/Winky

    then shortly after Golota/Brew

    soon Jesus Chavez/Carlos Hernandez

    Tszyu/Hatton a week later

    Tyson/Bride - Cotto/Abdulaev a week later

    Johnson/Tarver a week later

    Mayweather/Gatti a week later

Hopkins/Taylor a couple of weeks later

    Rahman/Barret a week later

it just keeps going and going

it has been like this not just this year, but in the recent years...I don't think Boxing has been doing bad for itself recently...we just need the HWs to step it up for the mainstream folk

I agree. I think that BDSSP is also helping out by showing pretty good fights every so often.

All I know is. Americo Santos is cool. he most likely will never be the guy, but I hope he will. That guy is just flat out cool. He throws punches, and when he gets tired he throws more.

If you gave him a defense...he would be pretty tough to beat at 140, Im serious. He is like the new cool guy in boxing.

        ****ing **** fo real.

Man I seriously got to get a better job with all the upcoming ppv's and simmer club season. Summer promises to be real good.

I think Boxing has come a long way from two years ago.Showtime,FSN,ESPN networks have stepped it up with their Boxing coverage. The only network that hasn't really blossomed IMO,is HBO.I hate when they show one fight a week, and that one fight is as lopsided as it gets. Most of HBO's big fights, always have to be PPV for some damn reason. You almost have to be a hardcore boxing fan to be interested in watching a regular HBO card now.Although,I am excited about the upcoming regular HBO fight cards in Cotto-Abdulaev/Casamayor-Kid Diamond and Quartey-Phillips/Johnson-Tarver II.
