I don't think Angulo will rock Julio the same way Kirkland did. Actually, I really wouldn't be surprised if Julio upsets Angulo. Angulo hasn't been in with a puncher like Julio.

Angulo is an entertaining fighter to watch win or lose and so called Boxing Fans should appreciate that, why is everyone so in love with Pac? Because, he is never in a boring fight. ya.ah no like shaw and angulo said that angulo was sick going into the fight and i know sometimes fighters make up excuses for losses but in that case angulo did look **** so in a rematch i just see angulo being able to put on more pressure cintron would wilt and it would end in a tko but in fairness to cintron i do think he is a ***** but he can box and has huge power so i wouldnt put it past him to do it again but i just see angulo as being in better shape if they had a rematch

Julio ain't the best...

Angulo says that fighting people like Vanes Martirosyan & Erislandy Lara would be taking a step backwards instead of forward, but yet his next fight is against Joel Julio who is ranked #9 by the WBC & #13 by the WBO & who in his past 3 fights has lost 2(1 by decision to Sergeii Dzinziruk & the other by KO to Kirkland) & in his last fight Julio beat by decision an EXTREMELY LOW QUALITY TOMATO CAN named Chance Taylor that in his 43 fight has only won 14!...That doesn't sound like the best or a step forward compared to Vanes Martirosyan who's record is 27-0 & has as many KO's as Angulo has wins(17) & Martirosyan is ranked #4 by the WBO, #5 by the WBC, #7 by the IBF & #8 by the WBA & is a top prospect...& It's true that Erislandy Lara who is now 10-0-6KO's ain't in the top 10 of any of the main sanctioning organism's "YET"..But with all the hype that has been given to the Cuban stars, that would make for a much more interesting fight for Angulo than one with Julio & Lara has shown very good movement & boxing skills, better than Cintron who is actually a brawler but ironically beat Angulo boxing & moving....Fighting Julio seems safer for Angulo who says that he has nothing to gain fighting any of these 2(Lara & Martirosyan), but it seems that the only thing Angulo is scared of gaining is another defeat, which would definitely set him back....

I see your point...but...EL PERRO is not sared of another loss...He just wants the aportunity to fight the best. Julio has fought Kirkland and Sergiy. They are just using him as a measuring stick to see how well Angulo does against him compared to Kirkland and Sergiy.
Martirosyan with all do respect has a great record on paper BUT he is not on the same level as EL PERRO...yet!...and i don't think he will ever be. YOU know..and i know...and he even knows that he lost his last fight. Guess he got some of that Cintron luck. Kassim Ouma got robbed. I see EL PERRo ko'ing martirosyan if they ever met in the ring. Lara needs more wins...let him get better...and then if the time is right a fight with Angulo.
I guess that's what Angulo is talking about when he refers to a step backwards. Would you rather see ANGULO vs LARA or ANGULO vs Paul Williams/Cintron2.....ANGULO vs MARTIROSYAN or ANGULO vs Sergiy/Kirkland???? I think you answered your own question.

While Lara is very impressive, I just dont think he is ready for El Perro. Angulo has a point at this stage in Angulo's career if he was to fight(and beat) Erislandy,it wouldn't mean very much. I like Lara's ambition but he is not quite ready for El Perro YET but he will be soon.

Angulo looked nice and crisp in his last fight, and I believe he would TKO Cintron in spectacular fashion. He came in behind the jab right nicely last fight(not face first like with Cintron) and improved his mechanics in how he throws his punches. Harry Joe aint no punk and El Perro handled him up easily.

Cintron isn't as good as Williams but You aint as good as Cintron. Hahaha!!!!

Typical Puert Rican talking trash. Cintron was hugging and running for half the fight, he was scared to death from Perro. Angulo was never hurt, he was sick and was chasing that sissy all the time. Cissintronīs face was all bruised and never really fought for the fans. No wonder no one wants to watch Cintron fight whils Angulo has a very big fan base, and not just Mexicans.

Talking about Lara: "Who has his fought?" Nobody, of course, how the *** you want him to face anybody if fighters like you don't want to face him... Who does Angulo think he is? He is not a champ and he is not undefeated, Lara is another hot prospect in that division, el Perro should calm down with his diva attitude, he's talking like he is all that already...

Btw, I'm not saying Lara would beat him, in fact, I really don't know who would win this fight at all...

So what if Perro is not undefeated??? That doesnīt mean anything. So Julio Cesar Chavez is 40-0 and therfore he is great?? You haters will start saying that heīs fought tomato cans. Mayweather is undefeated cause he runs and hugs for half his fights and received a gift against Castillo. People prefer to watch Angulo (and other Mexicans) even if he loses, than Cintron or all those boring runners-huggers.

WOW....brought up the castillo fight huh!...Castillo did get robbed. But, mayweather beat him clearly in the re-match. CHIEF2NDZONLY....nice message. I feel ya'. Lara/angulo would be a good fight, but it will be a better fight if Lara gets a couple of more W's.

THIS IS ANGULO's YEAR........can't wait for APRIL 24th......
