Marquez v Diaz. I grew up around boxing, but that fight really sparked a flame and I've been eating this up since.

Seriously though, the fight that made me love boxing was Holyfeild Foreman, saw some earlier stuff but that was the first time I was old enough to know what was going on.

LOL well in comparison to Floyd, Ray did take this fight after a 3 yr hiatus, a detached retina, and also fought at a weight he'd never fought prior to that fight for the title. Though hagler had seen his best days by then, it was still a dangerous fight for Leonard who people thought was crazy to fight Hagler right away.

Leonard vs Hagler did it for me. It was a great match and even back then I could appreciate the skill behind a slick boxer.

                    Wiki:
Frazier went to New York to face the 19-year-old Tyson, who was to inflict an even more humiliating defeat, clubbing Frazier unconscious in just 30 seconds - Tyson's quickest KO. Many in the sports press criticized father/trainer Joe Frazier for changing him from a boxer to a puncher, a style many thought did not suit Marvis, who was successful as a boxer in the amateurs.
I saw that the following week,it was the first time I had ever seen Tyson. F.ucking beast!
