How...? i mean lets be real, cotto barely landed any clean punches in that fight. the story of the fight was clottey coming forward blocking cotto's punches and hitting cotto flush. the only rounds i gave to cotto were rounds: 1, 4, 6, and 12. clottey dominated rounds 7-9. and he did enough in 10 and 11 to take them also. Most of the people that scored it for cotto either were his fans, or people that were persuaded by cotto's star power so to speak. hell, even in the sixth round, clottey landed the cleaner punches even though he was trapped in a corner. he outclassed cotto, full stop IMO. and dont use the cut as an excuse cause you can look at the 1st 2nd and part of the 3rd round before the cut and clottey was still landing the cleaner punches. if that KD didnt happen clottey handily won the first round. it gets done to death about people saying clottey wasnt active nough in the championship rounds, yet people forgot what happened the first 10 rounds. all cotto did was run in circles in the championship rounds and throw little feints. clottey was trying to make him fight. i bet if cotto fought the fight that clottey fought and didnt get the decision people would STILL be bitching up a storm. thats just the truth.
