When he was destroyed by Margarito? Umm no. Mosley vs. Pac was the fight they didnt want it though. Roach already came out and said he thought Shane was too good for Pac.

        Nope.

Cotto and Pacman were not in negotiations. Mosley offered Pacman a fight after he beat Hatton. While Cotto was preparing for Clottey

Yes Mosley was begging for a fight with Paq, that was while Paq was negotiating on a fight with Cotto, it was pretty well understood before the Paq-Hatton fight that if Paq beat Hatton, Cotto would be his next fight. At first Roach wanted Cotto to come down to 143, Cotto rightfully balked at that, and Mosley then said he would come down to 140. Roach and Paq knew that Mosley would be a more difficult fight for Paq than would Cotto, that is why they fought Cotto. They wanted to see if Paq could hang in there with a welterweight before throwing him in with the likes of Mayweather or Mosley. By the time Paq fought Cotto, Mosley already had signed to fight Berto, then Paq signed to fight Clottey, then Mosleys fight against Berto fell apart. If Paq beats Cotto, fully expect him to fight the winner of Mayweather-Mosley, I hope Mosley beats Floyds ass because I would love to see Paq-Mosley, and I wouldnt pick Paq to win.

              Does this sound realistic?

I would say Shane is a bigger threat to Manny, but do you think if they faced each other that Manny would win?
nah...they will probs fight each other one day..

before the pac-cotto fight was announced, mosley went to the wild card gym himself and asked roach for the fight.he told roach he would fight pac at 147 since thats where pac fought dlh.roachs exacts words were "youre not oscar".roach then told him to meet them 142.mosley said no.a couple days later, mosley publicly said he was willing to meet them at 142 and would take the smaller half of the purse (40% i think).he cried and cried, but never got the match.im not saying anyone was ducked, just stating the facts.read and judge for yourself

Roach admitted they wouldn't fight Mosley at any weight above 142 because he is too good.

                    Yes, he dodged Mosley.

I think Roach was a little afraid of Mosley's length and right hand. Still Pac would beat Mosley easily.
