Better win? Mosley over Marg or Pac over Cotto?

well pacquiao was the big favourite to beat cotto

and if you all remember marg was the big favourite to k.o shane after what people saw in the mayorga fight

and of course the catch weight takes shine off the cotto fight

for me its shane not by a mile but clearly

easy....Shane over Marg was way way better!!....Cotto was beatdown by Marg physically and mentally....Clottey beat him up as well....so Cotto was coming off 2 beatdowns and if you REALLY score the Clottey fight like its supposed to, then Cotto lost that fight as well.....Marg on the other hand was Mr. Invisible before Shane beat him down, plus the stakes were higher.....the top spot in the division was on the line and Shane was the underdog......Shane's win was much better and not trying to diss Manny's win but its not even close to that Shane over Marg beatdown!!.....Marg hadn't lost in like 8 years before Shane took it to him!!

Pac over Cotto in the sense of Pacquiao coming from Featherweight the year before and demolishing Cotto (the consensus #1-2 WW in the world).

But considering Margarito's aura post the Cotto win and how bad Mosley dominated him, you can make a case for both really.

I'll probably lean towards Pacquiao over Cotto.

Mosley over Margarito and theres no question a bout it.

Margarito was comming off better wins than Cotto, dominating KO's over IBF champ Kermit Cintron and WBA champ Miguel Cotto>>> dominating KO over Michael Jennings for vacant WBO title and Close split decision over Joshua Clottey.

Mosley took less punches than Pacquiao, just dominated didnt loose a round. No catch weight, Mosley was the under dog against the welterweight king that had just destroyed Cotto. And Mosley was 37, id like to see Pacquiao beat a prime welterweight king when he's 37.

It's difficult to say really.both Cotto and Margarito were both past their prime and both weight drained going into their respective fights.


I'm not sure if pre Cotto would beat Pacquiao,but he would put in a much better performance than the post Margarito Cotto did.


A healthy prime Margarito gives Mosley a real beating.This is why Mosley ducked Margarito in his prime.
