    Looking at Cotto training..

So I'm sure many of you have seem him training, and you don'd see the fire like Pacquiao has. He doesn't seem to go with that kind of intesntiy and looks very slow, and yet he still became a top world fighter.

What is your opinion about him when you see him hitting the heavy bag, mitts, double end, or whatever he does?

I'm not bashing Cotto or anything because as you can see, he's on my avatar and is one of my favorite fighters.

he trains the way he fights. steady, deliberately and meticulously. i dont see anything wrong with it. just as long as he's putting the work in.
he maybe should get better sparring though.

Yes, he's great and he gets the job done but you would think a fighter on that level would train different.

Still, you gotta love Cotto and his fighting style. Whatever he does, he seems to get it done with no problem.

He fights everybody...without excuses or drama. He gives all he got and does his best everytime. I've never seen a fighter lose but still looks like a winner.

He is a great warrior... a great person as will.

              I am always a fan.

cotto doesn't train hard, but he knows his body and how not to over train.

Cotto is calm..that's just how he is..not everyone trains with the same intesity and the same way,i just wish he had a better trainer in his corner when he fought pac.

That's a result of crafty managing. Arum cradled his ass and at the same time promoted the image of Puerto Rican warrior. So when it was time for him to fight the AUTHENTIC thing, he got his ass whooped both times and should have racked up a L against Clottey.

And he doesn't push himself above and beyond, in training. Which is why you don't see him fight through adversity in the ring.
