I know I hope it is, the last video I seen of him shows that he has balloned up in weight and that can't be healthy. If he goes to camp it needs to be fat camp then try to weight watchers to control his weight.

Really wanted to see him for as least one more fight.

          Damn.

Although I'm really not surprised....the only fight out there for him is Khan (I assume JMM doesn't want to fight Hatton), and I think Hatton considers himself above Khan, and also scared to lose in front of the entire nation against a 23 year old.

Damn...I really wanted to see him and Urango go at it again (he showed interest in a rematch)...This time it probably would have been a lot closer and I'm sure we'd see some slugging. Its also the only fight I can see him winning because of how out of shape/shot he is.

good for him. it was the right decision.

kinda throws a monkey wrench in GBP's plans for khan as well. maybe the kid will have to earn his big paydays now.

It doesn't surprise me that this comes out a couple of days after Urango lost his belt. Ricky mentioned him as a possible opponent when he first announced his comeback....it'd have been an easy title and any fight labelled as "Ricky's Return!" is a payday. There's no easy titles for him any more.
