I was gonna start a thread about this a few days ago but didn't for some reason. It wouldn't surprise me at all, he said he'd be back in training after his trip to Australia and it has been over a month and he still looked terrible last time I saw him interviewed a few days ago. I think he's had a rethink and has lost his hunger for it after all.

maybe i read it wrong but didnt it say they were taking no more bets on him retiring in 2010?
His plan was to have one fight, 2 at most and retire. he can still have his one fight in 2010 and retire straight after.
