Didn't Pac say he couldn't fight again later this year?

He's running for office around may/june, which is why he had to fight march 13th (starts his campaign shortly after fight).

He may be able to fight again at the end of the year, however if he wins the election he may never fight again or for along time.

He's running for office in May. The original date for Pacquiao vs Mayweather was going to be May, but Pacquiao said it'd have to be before May because the elections are in May. Win or lose (the election), he'd be able to train for a Fall bout according to him.
