No reason to give In, going off of what Pac and Roach keep saying... some of their excuses make no sense. They keep saying all they need is a 2-5 day window of no testing or no testing on the day of the fight, yet they turned down 14 days. Now you get to the Clottey fight where they go and get a tube of blood taken 19-20 days away from the fight for a psychical.

But whatever gets the fight done is fine, dont care.

By the way I think it's plausible that Mayweather drops the testing demands in favour of a bigger chunk of the purse and Pacquiao dropping the $10m per pound penalty next time they enter negotiations.

i'v commented on that angle but the other way SG...i bet you if you GBP offered 55-45 in PAC's favor, PAC would allow the testing

        One question though...
What does Pacquiao have to lose by not sticking to his guns?

Because Mayweather's side is easy. If he gives in, there is a possibility that Pacquiao may be on steroids and will unjustly ruin Floyd's legacy.

I have a feeling they're going to come to some type of agreement. The fans and media let the crumbling of Pac vs Mayweather slide once. If both win their fights, they'll almost be forced to fight. Both want to make money and by that time there will be nobody else for either fighter.

Trust me, it's only March. A lot can happen from now to November - December.

Noo. I'm not supporting Floyd for sticking to his guns. I'm supporting Floyd for bringing light to an issue that's been in the dark for too long. And I'm glad he asked for random testing - I don't care who it was that he asked.

It just seems that the issue isn't whether or not anyone's clean, its who's gonna get their way?

Doesn't he want more money now? I thought he said Pac can forget about the 50/50 split if Shane/Floyd beats Clottey/Pac?

True, I never thought of that. It'd probably be slightly less workable considering Mayweather v Mosley will likely blow Pacquiao v Clottey out the water and also, it'd never be easy to nick a few percent off "Money" Mayweather himself.

But either way the issue is certainly resolvable if everyone puts their egos to one side, approahces the negotiations with a bit more patience and they just stop trying to one-up each other all the damn time.

If Floyd drops the testing, He's going to ask for a bigger cut of the PPV's since his fights sell a lot more than Pacquiaos.
