Based on what I've seen, probably Brook, but I will need to see him against better opposition. Bellew is still fighting cans. Cleverly is starting to sit on his punches but is still a ways away, still gets hit too much. Will make an effort to check out some of the other guys, like Groves.

      Actually Brook/Berto could be interesting.

It's difficult to choose between Kevin Mitchell and Nathan Cleverly, both are very good.

There's a lot of talented up-and-comers in the UK.

Most of em potentially better than what we have on world scene at the moment. We need a good Light Welter to be honest.

              Gavin fights at 140.

And I'd bet a lot on him being Britain's next superstar. Apart from Khan, I can't see another British LWW beating Gavin, even at this stage.

Yeah i think his last fight was at 140, but didn't he have 2 at 147 prior to that?

No, he struggled making LW and LWW seems like his perfect weight.

He may have come in a few lbs over the 140 limit, but other than that he's no where near a WW atm.

Oh maybe that's where i'm getting mixed up then, i thought they were classified 147 fights. What weight did he fail to make at the olympics? 140?
