was hopkins in danger of ruined in a weight class he has been before? being the health freak that he is, putting on the weight with mackie shilstone(the guy that helped roy get up to heavyweight)
or was tarver in danger of being weight drained coming down from 220 pounds at 36 when he was planning on actually staying at the heavyweight division permanently

now go ask around, is it easier losing weight, or putting weight

yeah I'm sure hopkins beating pavlik had nothing to do with skill, it had nothing to do with lateral movement and taking away kelly's jab and one two punch. It had nothing to do with beating him to the punch. It had nothing to do with superior handspeed and footwork. Just size!

Once again I find it funny that whenever someone fights hopkins they all of a sudden have the worst fight of their careers (even the guys that beat him looked like **** (taylor/calzaghe). I mean, surely it has nothing to with hopkins skills and talent, right??

it's to do with the unknown weight classes he makes these guys enter
and then he headbutts and makes every fight ugly
besides, taylor has always looked awkward

Does anybody lose to a Prime Mayweather? Nobody........RJJ is also a great fantasy fighter. He only got KOed because he's not prime anymore.

Meanwhile Bernard is walking the walk and fighting threats like Taylor, Pavlik, Calzaghe, Trinidad, & Tarver.

I think they are pretty close actually and both can make the case as to who's is better.

Roy jones won titles in multiple weight classes and won a belt at heavyweight.

Hopkins has the record for most title defenses at 160, was the first man to unify the MW division since hagler, and won titles at 175 post 40 years old.

both have had great careers. They are close as to where you rank them and their resumes are close as well.

I don't think anyone can honestly say that one is FOR SURE better than the other.
