Comments Thread For: Frank Warren Talks Royal Albert Hall, Mayweather, Khan

By Frank Warren - For years, London’s Royal Albert Hall was synonymous with boxing.

Years ago, I staged some big shows there, and until a few years ago almost every big name in Britain – and more than a few from overseas – had fought there.

I took the likes of Nigel Benn and Naseem Hamed to Kensington, and the public loved it.

In the new Millennium, the Royal Albert Hall has dropped off the radar, with the east end and Wembley the capital’s top destinations for the sport.

Yet like the prodigal son, boxing folk have always dreamed of returning to the RAH.
Those hopes are no nearer fulfilment after local residents successfully blocked a bid for the resumption of boxing.

They say that unruly fight fans will cause a public nuisance. That’s an insult that should be overturned. [Click Here To Read More]

Because he is Biter and Jealous towards anyone who leaves him or does well for themselves without him.

Also hes as bad as Don King when it comes to money, match making and dodgy decisions.

I think Frank Warren is misunderstood alot of the time, thats why people dont like him. He speaks his mind and seems very honest, ive got no probs with Warren and i think he got screwed by Khan.
Great article, man that last quote from Floyd is ****ed. He really has a chip on his shoulder about Manny doesnt he? and why not? An undefeated 40-0 fighter with one of the best defences of all time is losing out in the p4p rankings to an upstart Filipino with 3 losses on his record, it would grate at me too but it doesnt mean that is on something. By my rekoning, Manny went from 107 at 16 as a young pro and is now at 147. Floyd went from 106 at 18 as a young amateur to 154. You tell me who's gained more weight eh?
