He only says he cant stand how in boxing they dont put on enough big fights and that some promoters are greedy scumbags and that he dont like mayweather really just **** that most other people would agree with outside of the boxing community. He doesnt hate on boxing really, he used to be an amateur boxer, no way he could disrespect the sport like that...

Every time he mentions boxing he starts off with "I'm a boxing guy, I love the sport" but then goes on and on telling the media that its dying/dead/completely worthless.

The funny thing is that he is obviously a boxing fanboy, in an article a few months back (about how White bought a sabertooth tiger skull) it mentions that he has three big boxing posters in his office of Ali, Tyson and Pacquiao.

dana white is a massive boxing fan, he wanted to go into boxing promotion, but got the chance to buy the ufc for around $2m so did that instead, he wanted to do in boxing what he has with the ufc, read this months boxing monthly mag, there is a big article with him

More like he tried to become a boxing promoter and failed miserably, and how was he planning to monopolize boxing like the UFC when he was a nobody in boxing?

White stumbled on to success by growing up with the billionaire (mob money) Fertitas brothers and having a reality show that White wanted no part of turn an underground sport into a success overnight and literally saved the UFC which was on the verge of collapsing.

He does hustle a lot to promote his product, ill give him that, but he just fell into success.

Are you in England? Get this past issue of Boxing Monthly, there is a 4 page spread on Dana White, and how much he respects boxing.
