Vegas and LA gets decent crowds for fights. The east coast fights aren't always all paid in full gates.
Don King has already admitted that he has to paper the crowd at MSG on a regular basis.
He gave away thousands of tickets to the Ruiz-Toney fight, they only sold something like 5,500 tickets to that fight.
The Trinidad-Mayorga fight was not a sell out.
Somebody said they bought the cheapest ticket possible and was able to move down to get a better seat once the fight started.

La gets respectable crowds, Vegas get **** crowds majority of the tickets are given away to casinos and the casinos give them to there "big winners" or scalp them for ridiculous prices.

Vegas is a fraud in ticket sales.

        Any Sport.
Chicago, Illinois is not part of the East Coast. I hope that is not what you were implying.

If you meant it the other way, that the East Coast is better than Chicago,Illinois its not better.

I was just rounding off the areas to the nearest Coast, and Golota hasnt fought in Chicago for awhile, his fights are almost allways full, and wild.

I have never been to the East Coast but just from what people tell me Northern Illinois Chicago Milwaukee etc... are not that similar to New York and Philedelphia and DC and Boston. But I dont really know since I have never been there. The farthest East in the world I have ever been is to Ohio.

I remember back in the old days like joe louis and robinson era

The chicago stadium was the biggest boxing place

Chicago was like Las Vegas then

It would be great to bring fights there again....

It's great to bring it all over the country

                      (especially Sacramento)

Trinidad-Mayorga did sell out didnt it?
                      It was a Trinidad return..
