Comments Thread For: Vazquez vs. Marquez 4 is a Big Challenge For Zaragoza

Former champion Daniel Zaragoza has returned to the big leagues of boxing for the first time since his 1997 loss to Erik Morales. As previously reported some time ago, Rafael Marquez hired Zaragoza as his new trainer. Zaragoza replaces the legendary Nacho Beristain. Marquez is being prepared for his fourth meeting with Israel Vazquez, set for May 22 in Los Angeles. [Click Here To Read More]

Rafa wanted more attention, it was reported as a fallout between the two (nacho and rafa) but it might not be as big a deal for them now, I say Good for Zaragosa who was one of my favorites growing up....

Rafa thought Nacho was spending too much time and concentrating too much on Juan Manuel so he left him. I dont know weather its a good thing but if Rafa couldnt work with Nacho then so be it, i hope it doesnt affect his performance.

If Daniel finds a way for Rafael to avoid Israel hook he has a good chance in winning. Vazquez's hooks lands very frequent

Don't matter if Rafael has better boxing skills because when Izzy turns this into a brawl, Marquez, the warrior that he is will respond and throw boxing out the window.

Punch resistance is also something you can't train for and I have a feeling that Rafael will get hurt by an Izzy hook and probably knock him down again.

I do think that Marquez looked better than Izzy in their "tune-up" fights and I'm curious how much Vazquez has regressed.
