Funny enough people on this web site would like you to believe he can't be touch.They also would have you believe mosley is nothing more then the black version of Ricky face first Hatton.Dont believe umm mosley can box and **** come may 1st Mayweather will be in for a fight.

I personally think that a prime undefeated Hatton was more of a danger than an ageing Mosley will be. Prior to the Margarito fight (who was taylor made for him) Mosley hasn't looked decent in a while and against someone as skilled as Floyd that isn't good. Also Floyd does have the potential to TKO Mosley whether people like it or not...

hatton was wild, nontechnical and even less disciplined than a wild at times shane.

shane has fundamentals, is technical when he needs to be and is far superior in all attributes at even this late age than hatton was.

plus floyd is past his best prime as well

In Oscar=Mosley 2 where "Shane was embarrassed", all he did was resort to right hand body punches for 5-6 rounds.......

You could track Oscar's downfall by the sickening thud of the punches, the way Oscar kept crouching and bending over more and more as the rounds went on, the way Oscar was pushing up he "patented" body corset chest protector, and the sick look on Oscar's face.

All credit to him that he didn't quit. I was expecting him to puke in the ring, and, at any moment to see Mosley's gloved fist drill a hole through Oscar's chest and come out his back.........

Mosley won that fight well enough by changing his tactics, very successfully. He knew exactly what he was doing.

Oscar was known for hating body shots, and wearing down in the late rounds.....as indeed he did. He hardly landed a punch on Mosley the last 3-4 rounds, being on the constant retreat, and "evasion" mode.

I agree with your assessment. This is the one fight in the last 6 years that i look at floyd's opponent and think to myself, "If he connects, it could be over." However its his defense thats gonna be the key, and the fact that i think he'll hit Mosley twice as much as Mosley hits him. Remember this is a guy that was getting pounded by Mayorga, and if he can catch him with those wild hooks, and Cotto can out jab him i think the frustration will kick in for Shane resulting in Shane at some point spending more time trying to knock mayweather out, while mayweather will be focused on just winning rounds, with the latter being the decisive. But it would be interesting to see what happens if one of Shane's left hooks connected.

You may forget that to fight Mayorga, then anyway, you got flying leather at terrific speed, from all angles and directions. That's what got Vernon Forrest so badly, and others...

I doubt the N'Dou was as helpless as you believe he was, he did have a record of 31-1 with 30 KO's. With a KO rate like that how helpless can you really be?

I saw the fight and he was VERY ordinary. How much his 30 KO's were worth, I don't know, I never heard of the vast majority of them, so..........

OK we'll have to see. I just don't see Mosley giving Floyd the same problems Hatton did in the early rounds. I'm expecting a completely one sided boxing clinic. But by all means call me up if this doesn't become the case.

Shane does not have the best chin in boxing Champ. He does have a good set of whiskers on him, but I think it's quite a stretch to say he has the best chin in the sport. Some would've reserved a comment like that for Urango, and we just saw what happened this weekend, to argueably the best chin at 140 right?

Well, I'd like you to correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Mosley to have been down only one time in his 52 fight career, with a monster uppercut from Vernon Forrest, followed by a huge barrage of heavy punches, to put him down. This was in a very early round, the 2nd I thibk, and yet he recovered, and went the whole 12.
