Pacquiao to fight at 140lb after the Clottey??

I was reading the new issue of the Ring mag with Bradley on the cover and it says that Pacquiao has requested that he remain the magazines 140lb champion because he intends to defend it in his next fight, The Ring editor-in-chief then noted that if Pacquiao doesn't do that The Ring panel would look into vacating the belt, so much for their "We let the belt change hands in he ring" bull****. Just a tad bit of info you might want to know.

If he defends aginst Valero he should be laughed out the sport.

I actually won't have a problem with this....providing Valero beats a top guy soon at 140. If he beats Bradley or Peterson then I would love to see Pac fight Valero next (in case his fight with Floyd falls through).

This is only excusable if he beats Clottey then makes an effort to fight another WW. If Shane beats PBF, he has to fight him again and thus Pac is left with nothing but Berto. I'll accept that fight with no problem. And of course if PBF wins in May, the fight must happen. If he tries for those fights and it doesn't come off, fine then, face Tim. But if he drops down without an effort, he loses my respect.

            Pac needs to fight Mayweather.

If that falls through. And he wants to go to 140.

            Then fight:

Bradley or Alexander. Two very skilled boxers.

Not ANOTHER Brawler. Thats cherrypicking he has the ring belt. Defend it against Bradley or Alexander.

no way valero deserves a shot at manny over bradley. i would lose a little respect for manny if that fight happens anytime this year.

You, me, and every smart boxing fan knows Valero is not ready for Pac, at all and sure hell not after just fighting Peterson.
