BTW, I agree with you. This is Boxing, it's still fighting and you can be one solid punch away from hitting the canvas. Also, as these guys progress they are stepping up in competition and when you do that losses can come on any given fight night. When you have a fight brewing that is sparking interest I say you have to take advantage of it and cash it in. You wait too long and it may be spoiled.

I agree TS, but not only at featherweight. Every titlist out there should focus on cleaning out their division. They are all hiding behind their titles when there is alot of money to be made!

and a chance pac might be exposed for the roids he uses

Isn't this kind of what boxing has been over the years though? Always shooting itself in the foot. Look at BHOP and Roy. If they fought years ago it would of been huge but they wait so long and no one could give a **** ass except their fan bases. Boxing puts too much stock into investments and for the most part it fails because its fighting and anything can go down in a fight. It only works with the very small percentage of world class athletes that were destine to make it to the big time.

What happens? James Kirkland is currently sitting in prison and Angulo lost a lot of his luster, losing to Kermit Cintron.

**** like this is why gamboa/lopez should happen now, there is no telling what can happen in this unpredictable sport.
            yep... perfect ruined.

Too much ****** politics is the reason Boxing gets frowned upon by casuals, because they hear hype for some mega event like Mayweather vs Pacquiao and see it become a circus and the fight not even happen. We need to get more mega fights made when the can be.

james gets out soon, and angulo still has it... they just threw him in with a tough fighter too early in his career... i will agree tho because the one thing that those fights have in common is that they are thought of as tough, evenly matched fights, when the reality of it is they will both end in blowouts..... gamboa destroys juanma as well and kirkland destroying angulo....
