I haven't seen many people say it should be implemented in one fight and not another, if people have said that then its wrong, fighters should follow the commision rules and nothing else, if floyd wanted it implemented he went about it the wrong way. You can argue that pac should have just agreed and get on with it, but no one is him, you don't know what is going on in his head. He is a pretty important person in the phillipines maybe there are people in his ear saying he shouldn't be dictated to, no one knows the situation!

Is he using? I would say its a possibiltiy, but as of today no one knows for sure except for manny pacquiao. You guys should relax because I think it will become clear in the future, instead of going in circles. Fact is even if random drug testing is used it is not 100% they would catch him anyway, probably not even 75%, olympic athletes have beaten drug tests for years without getting caught, and im sure there are a number who never got caught, im sure floyd is well aware of this, so what do you think that also says about his agenda? I think there is more to this then just knowing if pac is clean or not.

Testing was not at the level it is now when she got away with it, like many others got away with it. That was in 2000, its 2010. Testing is at such a higher level now. But of course people still get away, its a cat and mouse game, the roids get better the test get better.

single fight blood testing for the type of things that modern medicine can produce is both utterly pointless and highly inaccurate.

You need a year minimum of background blood samples to check against to find abnormality's.

Thats why olympic testing is year round and includes off season testing.

testing for the 3 month contracted fight period is a waste of time.

              Big difference!

It does start with the commission as far as making drug testing the standard. Bottom line is if people feel that the testing isn't good, then they need to put the pressure on these guys because they have the power to implement and inforce them.

Let me give you an example. Say if Floyd goes by his rules and wants Pac to take OST. Pac declines...maybe he gets bashed, but he goes on to fight someone else and at the end of the day no one cares. Same with Mosley. If he wanted to he could have told Floyd to go **** himself and went on to fight another opponent.

Now if the commission was the one implemented these, and a boxer said no....his license would be revoked, he would get suspended and probably wouldn't fight again for a long time.

I speak for all Pac fans by saying this is what we want. A standard that everyone has to follow with real consequences to force the sport to become cleaner. I'm in support of that, and I know if Floyd was serious he would put pressure on the commissions instead of Manny (Which from what I see is nothing but smoke screens for his real intentions).

I don't think the logistics are as important.

The fact of the matter is, we already know that the current testing standards aren't up to par.

To get thing's changed through the NSAC and the other state commissions would take a lot, because every bout sanctioned by a commission isn't making tons of money(Or even money at all), so it'd be hard to get it implemented across the board, which is what it should be the standard.

Boxing has so many governing bodies, unlike major professional sports leagues, that it would be a pain to have to go through commission rules.

Its all a moot point anyways. Pacquiao accepted the terms in early December, then reneged. The terms were always there in the contract, so its not like they tried to 1-up Pacquiao's 10 million dollar weight penalty clause.

If the commission allows Mosley and Margarito to cheat, where do you draw the line? I think fighter's should first and foremost be responsible for their own personal health. The spectators aren't the one's getting bashed in the head repeatedly.
