he isnt but hes on his way.he has 10 more fights than advertised also.pac wont be the best in 5 years hes lost and hell lose again if he keeps fighting.every boxer has gone through this process gradually increase comp till he reaches his peak, people act as if mosley, mayweather and pacman are going to be dominating in 5 years or ten aint gonna happen the sport has to live on and saul is a force a player for the future as are many others.

kid is only 19 and already accomplishing more than the top 3 did at that age.i have no qualms about the kid facing any of the top 3, within the next 2 years if he keeps winning. he has exactly the style that can beat pac, size and power too, all 3 top guys are on their way out, they are aging fast.pac has poor defense and mostley fights older or shot fighters, clottey is an exception pac is protected. mosley is 38 and slurrs, mayweather, activity dropping, and he just doesnt have the power to hurt a saul alvarez, guy couldnt even ko a feather weight albiet a great one in jmm. people need to stop acting like there heroes are unbeatable,a lot of it is pure hype.id be more scared of devon alexander for saul than i would any of the top 3 welterweights as i said they are on their way out.

saul alverez aint ready for the big boys yet hell get crushed if he fights mayweather or pacquiao.hes all hype and needs alot more fights before he steps up to the elite.saul alvarez should fight undefeated prospect kenny galarza 12-0-12kos in the future, that would be a hell of a fight.galarza would ko alvarez in m y opinion.

¿Is he really ready for the best for the best?

Lately Alvarez has looked good in his fights, but looking at the quality of his opponents he had to....In his 32 fights the only familiar name this kid has fought is Larry Mosley(which is basically an unknown) & that was 2 years ago..The rest of his record is full of bums & tomato cans & there's one draw somewhere in there...First he's gotta do some improvements in his defense & other things then start fighting top quality opponents to prove he belongs among the elite, then he could ask to fight the best....Right now he's just asking for an ass wiping...

Sounds to me that everyone that Manny fights are either shot or comming of a loss to you? Hmm.. check your facts... Diaz was the champion when he fought Manny, how can he be shot or comming from a loss?? Hatton had two wins prior to his loss to Mayweather, how can he be shot or comming from a loss? Cotto had a tough fight with Clottey but still came up with a win, I think it's premature to say he is shot..now he's going up in weight to fight at junior middleweight. Oh and Oscar hand picked to fight Manny, as far as I recall it was supposed to be Hatton but Oscar wants Manny more. Please stop being a hater. It clouds your Judgement.

don't cry buddy, mexican fighters will be back on top again once pac retires. just relax it will not take that long, if you're lucky enough pac will retire after the clottey fight if not then you have to wait for another year. hahahahaha

alvarez actually has had pretty good comp for a 19 y/o.
tyner, rosales and gabriel martinez are all solid fighters.
