"Klitschko fights the same way every time. That robotic, Eastern European style"

Some of the top fighters and trainers in boxing make their picks for Saturday's Keith Thurman-Danny Garcia title fight in Brooklyn.

The snow was melting yesterday at the Pocono ski lodge where Eddie Chambers & Co. were winding down their seven-week training camp and preparing to shock the world, never mind what anybody (everybody?) else thinks.
Philly-based Chambers fights Wladimir Klitschko on March 20 in Dusseldorf, Germany, for a bagful of heavyweight belts. Chambers and trainer Rob Murray insist that despite the heavy 8-1 odds, the 27-year-old Chambers will beat Klitschko handily. Handily!

"Klitschko fights the same way every time. That robotic, Eastern European style. It's easy to train for him, because you know what he's gonna do," Murray said.
"Fast Eddie" looked quick-handed as usual sparring with 7-foot Marcellus Brown and undefeated Malik Scott.
Chambers is trying to keep up the ring movement that helped him outbox Alexander Dimitrenko in July. He knows he's no monster puncher, so he wants to pester Wlad into submission. "I want him to feel, 'God, I cannot get away from this guy's punches,'" Chambers said. "I want him to be uneasy in there. Like he's running in a maze and can never find the exit."
If there's any upset vibe in the air, it's because Klitschko-Chambers is getting precious little love in the States, like Mike Tyson-Buster Douglas in Tokyo or Lennox Lewis-Hasim Rahman in South Africa. But Eddie said he won't be content with that sort of upset:
"I don't want it to be the kind of upset where it's a lucky punch and if you fight the guy 100 times he would beat you the other 99," Chambers said.
Instead, he's thinking more along the lines of Cassius Clay over Sonny Liston: "A win where he knows he got beat and he knows he would get beaten again."

A robot that will bear hug his opponent as well. That I truly hate.

Why is it that Vitali fights the hard punchers and his brother takes the light hitters?

            Chambers is absolutely right.....

It still won't stop him from getting his arse kicked. I know which style I'd rather have.

Yup that's why Wlad was the first to sign to fight Haye until Haye pulled out of the fight. That's why he tried to fight Arreola after the Haye fiasco but Arreola declined. That's why he beat Samuel Peter.

Samuel Peter, Arreola and Haye, all three of them feather fisted right?

Its a good plan Chambers has, I just don't know if physically the tools are there for him or if he can hold up against Wlad.

I am sure alot of fighters come in with that plan to until they continuously get hit with that telephone poll jab and think twice about going in.
