Urango was still dazed, sure. However, that uppercut did not land (look for yourself and don't listen to Lennox Lewis) after the straight right. It was a legitimate knockdown but it wasn't heavy. Urango was up in time, steady on his feet and had his hands up. This fight was for two straps and Urango is a warrior - horrible stoppage.

Awesome first knockdown though. Recently we have had Pac doing the same to Cotto and Mitchell doing that to Mendoza... however I think Alexander's was the best of the lot.

Urango still looked strong to me when it was stopped. Looked like he had his balance and his eyes looked normal.

            urango maybe deserved one round.
i think it was one of those situations where devon was so dominant that if urango did anything of note, people TRIED to give him rounds.
            that's fcking atrocious though.
i say that when judges are announced, some of their contact info should be put on display as well. theres no way for the fans to directly express their disdain for horrible judges.

nah he was still hurt from the first uppercut which is why he went down so easily the 2nd time. he got caught high up on the temple with a hook and that 2nd hookercut went across his chin. urango showed no signs of being able to cover up, punch back or to be able to utilize other survival tactics. he wouldve been a sitting duck.

When the showed the uppercut again it looked like it landed to me. It was a good stoppage to me. I mean he went down so easily the second all it would have took was another couple of punches and would have been down again and there was a lot of time still in the fight.

He was up and standing with his hands up. The guy counted until 8 and did not let him continue.
Plus Urango's power punches were getting to Alexander. He was slowing down.
The second knockdown, the upper did not land.
