I wasn't sure if Brewster could do this to Golota. A lot of people have been doubting Brewster. An idiot at HBO, Ron Borges, even called Brewster feather fisted. Brewster came out and attacked Wlad, but against Meehan he basically did nothing for most of the fight. He fought like he feared Meehan's power. After tonight I am pretty sure the Meehan fight was a fixed fight. Golota arguably beat both Ruiz and Byrd, and then Brewster comes out and destroyed Golota. This really makes Byrd and Ruiz look bad. Does this mean that Brewster is the second best heavyweight behind Vitali now? Brewster gained himself a lot of credibility with this fight tonight. Brewster looked really good tonight. This fight also should help raise Wlad's stock because apparently Brewster is a lot better than everyone thought.
Wladimir, Ruiz, Brewster, and Byrd - a second look

Why did the Brewster-Meehan fight have to be fixed? I just think that Brewster underestimated Meehan and the fight turned out to be tough. I also think that Golota is not the best to measure how good Brewster is. Styles make fights and Brewster's attack was ideal for Golota's cold start.Originally posted by NeuraxisI wasn't sure if Brewster could do this to Golota. A lot of people have been doubting Brewster. Excuse me? Brewster KO a 3 time loser like Golota and all of a sudden he's the best thing since sliced bread? Give me a break. Golota was BORN to lose!Originally posted by NeuraxisI wasn't sure if Brewster could do this to Golota. A lot of people have been doubting Brewster. Notice how he came out from the opening bell and attacked Wlad and Golota, but not Meehan. Whenever he would attack Meehan, he would have him in serious trouble, but he hardly ever did it, and he usually only did it with something like 15 seconds left in a round.Originally posted by Exciterx22Why did the Brewster-Meehan fight have to be fixed? I had Golota beating Byrd but not Ruiz. I saw the fight 113-112 for Ruiz. Still, as close as a fight could get.Originally posted by NeuraxisFunny, I had him beating Ruiz as did the vast majority of people.Comment

I posted the arcticle where he explained why in the "Brewster V.S. Meehan" thread on this page. Talking about him being gunshy because they were friends. He openly said he did not have much respect for Golota, and showed that.Originally posted by NeuraxisNotice how he came out from the opening bell and attacked Wlad and Golota, but not Meehan.
