Khan has direct access to a star status.

After he beats Paulie, he will be getting Hatton on a platter, which will launch him into star status. Then he'll get Victor Ortiz or possibly even Mayweather after that.

Dan Rafael said that Khan-Hatton has a 90% chance of happening and he usually waits until he gets confirmation from a really good source.

hmmm this match is certainly a possibility especially if Khan wants to fight Bradley at the end of this year. I say it happens, with a slight edge going to Khan.
