Not a hater, just a realist. Alexander is nothing special, relies on speed, doesn't turn over his punches, and is not incredibly slick when compared to someone like Tim Bradley.

He has not transitioned well to the pro's. He still fights like an amateur, and if he hasn't transitioned by now, he never will.

It WILL bite him in the ass. He was really starting to succumb under the pressure against Urango. Urango was starting to land break you down bruise you up punches. The punch he dropped him with was not something he was looking for, despite what he claimed in the post fight, it was for all intents and purposes, a lucky punch, from an off balance angle that caught Urango unprepared.

The momentum of the fight was moving against him, he hadn't so much as gotten Urango to bat an eye at his power for the entire fight.

He had one of the worst fights I have seen against Urango and had to clinch the hell out of him even though he was the much bigger man, never hurting him once and putting us to sleep. Alexander on the other hand put Urango to sleep.

Good point. I don't understand why anybody gave Berto a chance against Shane Mosley, and I don't think he'll beat Quintana either.

Do you know when he started?... In his 40s Also if Hopkins fights someone smaller he beats the **** out of them. Andre Berto is in his prime and is in his 20s. When Hopkins was in his 20s he was knocking fools out left and right.

I totally 100% without a doubt disagree with everyone in this thread. Come on man, everything isnt black & white. 1st off Berto ****** because of his trainer, not himself. Berto is a righty & Urango is a Southpaw which means that Berto is supposed to circle to his left all night but the idiot trainer said that Urango's main weapon was his right hook so they will instead circle to there right for this fight. The fight was ruined from that very moment in training camp.

Just go back & rewatch it. Berto was so lost going the wrong way all night and he felt so awkward because everytime he swung, he basically felt wide open for a counter which made him instead fall in & hold. Collazo is a beast and a much better fighter than Urango but Berto didnt go right all night against him. He went left and you saw a much better fight. If Berto circles the natural way in that fight then he looks 10x better. Mosley isnt a Southpaw so Berto would have none of that to worry about.

Next, Devon himself is a Southpaw. I talk about this non stop on here. Being a Southpaw is so big of an advantage in boxing that its unbelievable. Most guys cant fight Southpaws well including other Southpaws. Thats another reason why Berto struggled and thats why Urango struggled with Alexander. He wasnt use to fighting another Southpaw like that. Dont underrate that **** wether you are talking about Alexander, Pac, Calzaghe, or whoever. That Southpaw **** ****s guys up. Urango even caught Devon with some **** that others probably wouldnt have
