But, it does raise questions. He didnt ask for against DLH, and that fight, moving up 154 was a risk, I dont care what anyone says.
The answer is in your question at that time he's fighting DLH(for the biggest payday of his career) he doesn't have any leverage to demand a rematch clause against Oscar.

And this speaks also to the rest of the boxers in the past who asked for a rematch clause against their opponents.

Because even at this stage of mosley's career floyd aren't still sure if he could win to an old past prime mosley that's why he put a rematch clause on the contract.

definitely correct. its not like ill say " hey im gonna whoop your azz then you will fight me again in a rematch, and im gonna whoop your azz for the second time, thats to prove that i have not been ducking you because im afraid that youll kick my butt and steal my "0". then afterwhich im going to negotiate again for a second rematch and so on and so forth because you are the best in the welterweight division second to me, the greatest of all of you. ill give you rematches over and over til you turn 50 years old, or until you dried up from the continued blood testing. forget about pacquiao, that midget, ill be the GOAt after i beat you for the umpteenth time.

Mosley is still a very good fighter, Roach said that he was too dangerous for Pacquiao.

Serious question. Did Floyd really ask for the rematch clause?

I remember in a video him saying "If you do it right (win) the first time why do you need a rematch?" I'm paraphrasing of course but it was something along those lines.
