She never tested positive. She was found out using "Clear", after several times her husband kept trying to tell the media that she didn't win those medals honestly. He was training her for a while and then when their marriage fell apart, she tried to make it seem like he was jealous of her success because he wasn't picked for the Olympics, but he attacked back and told the media that she was using PEDs.

Of course because most people feed into the media BS and how they try to cover for people that they say are "role models", they never looked into it. Well her name was brought up in the Balco scandal, when Barry Bonds was said to be using PED's too. So when Marion had to face court, she got caught up in a lie, and then admitted that she used "Clear", and that was the beginning of her end.

Since the time that she has been involved in the Olympics, their protocal is much more stringent now, and that's why before the Winter Olympics started in Vancouver this year, 30 athletes were tested and kicked out of the Olympics for testing positive in which 20 or so were found using "Clear".

around the time she was using PEDs, the USADA wasnt even around..they started later on than year around the winter olympics..so she was never actually tested for it the way the do the testing now via USADA...
