i was disgusted by what went down with the Mosely fight and i hated Margarito for trying to cheat


but something funny happened while he was suspended; my hate went away


maybe it was the way he entertained me with his fights...maybe the story of a tough mexican kid with no hype climbing the ranks stuck? i dont know

im supposed to think he was a scumbag but when i met him in Vegas a couple of weeks ago, nothing but props and support came out

Same here, for some reason it's hard to hate on him now. Now if he went on to fight before his yearlong suspension it would've been a different story

Margarito is the nicest guy i've ever met, He usually doesn't like people mentioning the incident around him and if they do he kindly shrugs it off and doesn't get angry. I've seen him spar in the gym he trains in Tijuana called Mojac, He's a pretty cool dude.

Ever since he was exposed loading his gloves I hate him! Not just because of the wraps though, but because I said alot of messed up things about Cotto for taking a knee and quitting, Cotto happened to be my favorite fighter at the time they fought, and watching him quit made me question his heart, then as soon as Margarito was busted with plaster, I felt horrible for bashing Cotto. Nothing anybody says will convince me that Margarito only loaded his gloves for the Mosley fight. Oh how I enjoyed every second of Mosley vs Margarito!

I admit I don't hate him as much as I did on Jan 24, 2009. The hate is fading to just dislike now.

I never really thought Cotto quit in that fight. He showed heart and balls IMO.
