How many fights do you think Valero needs to get a "Pacquiao" fight?

As much as I want to see him clean up at LW...I mosdef wanna see a Pac vs Valero fight sometime next year. My question is this....How many fights do you think he needs to position himself for a possibly showdown with Manny?

I hope that he goes to 140 and beats Peterson, then Bradley to show he is legit in a higher weight class. Then Pac can meet him at 140 or have him come to 147. Just some random **** I thought about posting....lol

Atleast 3-4 fights. We dont know how Valeros speed and power will carry at 140 for certain.

he wont be getting one at all. there will never be enough money for that fight to happen because it cant take place in the states and it proly wont be televised in the us, ppv or otherwise either.

Arum will be itching to make that fight, so beating Peterson and Bradley would probably be enough.

if he can beat Peterson and some title holder at 140 (probably Bradley or the winner of Urango/Alexander) then Arum would probably set up the fight

it'd a good farewell fight for Manny in Manilla

Pac can easily meet him at 140. You don't think an impressive win against Peterson and an upset win over Bradley (the top guy at 140) won't be enough?

According to Arum he's already in position.

Which is bull cause he is not ready for someone like Manny.

Pac hasn't said that...he team is the only ones that bring that up because they feel Manny can't handle politics and boxing at the same time. Manny believes he can and says he will continue to fight

There have been countless big time fights that haven't taken place in the US.

                    Thrilla in Manilla
                    Rumble in the Jungle
                    Tyson vs Douglas in Japan

If pac beats Mayweather, Mosley or another top WW then I can mosdef see his star power rising big time. In that instance he will be able to carry a PPV by himself and still do big numbers. Oscar did it as well as Tyson...so I don't see why Pac couldn't if he pulled off huge wins against Floyd and Shane.
