i believe the basis of their ppv is ppv sales in the US. That would put a non american fighting in america at a disadvantage over an american fighter of the basically the same caliber/level.

Sure but that wasn't really your question. If that is they angle you're trying to go. Then you should ask who has the biggger fanbase Pac or Floyd and Shane? Or even since Saul Alvarez who is even bigger than JMM in Mexico is fighting you can ask who has the bigger fanbase Pac or Floyd, Shane, and Alvarez. And, you should also hold to account if you talking about world PPV and fanbase or just U.S PPV and fanbase? I mean Pac might still win the poll. Because, he does a lot here... But, that question would be more relevant to your little angle... Just saying...

Ok I got you I misread it.... But, also I think you have to hold into account U.S PPV buys and fanbase or World wide PPV buys and fan base. Also I think you have to hold into account 24/7 who is also a major player in selling PPVs. If not just look at the numbers that both Floyd and Pac did with 24/7 and without 24/7.

And, in the U.S Floyd-Hatton did not outsell Pac-Hatton. In the U.S both did 850k... However, Floyd did much more in the U.K. It did like 1-1.2mil PPV buys...

I agree with that, 24/7 does boost sales. Just like it did JMM vs Floyd, I didn't think that fight would sell that much

Yea I didn't think it was going to do that much either. 24/7 helps sells the fights. JMM had a big part in selling the fight in 24/7. When he drank his own piss that was everywhere on TV. Everybody was talking about it. From English to the Spanish networks were talking about. That helped getting PPV buys.

It also did so well because Floyd is a draw, he is the most poplular American fighter in the World. So he has a big part in selling the fights you going to watch him fight.

I don't know who is the bigger draw, who has the more fans. But, if it is Floyd who has the bigger name and is bigger draw then Pac is in close 2nd not that far off behind. If it is Pac who is the bigger name and the bigger draw. Then Floyd is right there with him not far behind. The fact is these are the two biggest names in boxing right. That is why a fight with them would numbers that we have never seen before...
