                    • I think a major issue is that the word "boxing" has been perverted to describe only one specific style of boxing. Is any boxer who fights in a defensive style automatically a better boxer than someone who fights in an offensive style? Even if the offensive guy would beat him 10 times out of 10?

                      Its kind of sad that if I say who is the better boxer between Pacquiao and someone like Cory Spinks, alot of people would reply "Spinks is a better boxer but Pacquiao is a better fighter". That's bull****. They are both boxers. Pacquiao is better than Spinks therefore he is a better boxer. It doesn't matter if they don't have the same style.

                      btw Pacquiao and Spinks are the first names that popped in my haed but you could think of other examples.

                      Anyways good topic. I agree 100%. RIP Samurai although I wasn't a member when he passed.
