-Clottey works on almost zero footwork during padwork. Contrast that with Pac/Roaches constant emphasis on in and out movement and constant moving after throwing combinations, Clottey just stands still and throws punches from one spot with minimal head movement.

-His hands are decently fast, but they are mostly arm punches. He doesn't put much hip/body into his punches. Also, his mitt work looks more impressive than it is because his trainer is hitting his gloves very hard. Look how hard his trainer is working. When you see Roach holding mitts, he doesn't accomodate the puncher so the punch sounds nice and *****. If you don't throw a perfect punch with Roach, its going to look/sound crappy.

-His double end bag and heavy bag work is not very impressive from that video. It could be that the video only contains light work, but if the intensity isn't much higher than that in other times, that is not much bag work compared to Pac.

-I like how Clottey wraps his own hands just like Pac.

Not talking down Clottey, I'm sure this is still going to be a tough fight for Pac (hopefully not too tough), but just some thigns I observed from watching that video.
floyd never works on foot movement either on the mits -.-;.
They are getting their combinations together, and notice the emphasis on
double straights. he'll be pumping that right hand often against pac

I know Clottey is fast esp his fight against Judah. But boy he looks faster than ever doing the mitts. This is going to be a war. Pac will struggle more in this fight than the Cotto fight. Cant wait. This fight is a classic in the making.
