It was a Bad KO but thats better than a beating for 12(Cotto)
true, part of me wishes Mayweather KO'd him early. Imo that fight and the Collazo fight took the most out of Hatton.

Anybody else think this fight is inevitable?

Powerhouse? Are you kidding me? He is a standard 140 fighter, in fact he could probably grow into the weight a little seeing as he was fighting at 135 less than a year ago, albeit killing himself to make weight. He will be at 140 for at least a year longer imo, probably more like 2. Miguel cotto was a much bigger lww then khan. He said recently in a sky tv interview that he walks around at 10stone 5lbs (145lb). He changes his diet slightly once in training and loses that 5lbs very easy, in fact ariza said before the salita fight that since the move he has become stronger because ariza has more weight to play with and thats allowed him to add to khan's strength

True dat, but Hatton's out of the ring antics, make it a different fight than the Barerra one. Hatton's body, is that of a 50 yr old, and he can't take Khan's speed, it'll overwhelm him, i'd lve to see Hatton do him, don't get me wrong, i love Hatton but, it ain't happening.

Yeah i saw that when Khan said that, but i'll lay my house on it that Khan, ends up at 154 within 3-4 yrs.

Ppl must understand Hatton doesnt live like an athlete; he baloons up and down in weight between fights, binge drinks etc, plus hes been in a lot of wars and that affects a fighter mentally as well as physically; especially considering the devastating KO by Pacroid. His reflexes, punch resistance, and co-ordination in the ring wont be what they were when he fought the likes of Kosta Tszyu or Juan Urango; thats why i actually fear 4 the guys health if he fought Khan. A good comparison is Miguel Cotto; great fighter in his prime, which was 2 yrs ago; now after a few wars, and 2 bad stoppage defeats (by 2 cheaters in my opinion), hes mentally not the same fighter.

and kostya fight, that was brutal even if he was never really hurt he took some huge shots. I think those 3 really took a lot out of him, I think the mayweather fight was the last time he was in his peak physically, it was all downhill after that.

umm I don't know I doubt that very much. maybe he fights there out of choice, but I don't think he woud forcefully have to fight at that weight till much later in his career, (late 20's early 30's). I think he will probably level out at 147 for a long time. As long as he is walking around at between 150-155, he will make ww pretty comfortably. You have to realise that he is pretty much filled out now at 23, the next growth period with most fighters isn't really until there late 20's, normally 27-28 onwards.
