Not only is it getting overshadowed my shane mosely's fight but even me a hardcore boxing fan i find myself forgetting pacquiao and clottey are fighting soon every once in a while.

If this is pacquiao's last fight that would be a joke

Pacquiao should have accepted the Mayweather fight and just taken the damn tests. If his fight with Clottey gets overshadowed it's his own damn fault. He seems to think him fighting anybody is a bigger fight than Mayweather fighting anybody and the fact that Mayweather-Mosley has more buzz than Pacquiao-Clottey, at least in some circumstances, disproves that.

Win or lose, a fight between himself and Mayweather should be the type of fight Pacquiao talks about retiring at 31 after...nothing against Clottey, but if Pacquiao is going to retire after fighting Clottey then why even fight Clottey? Why not just retire? Clottey could beat him and only his really die hard fans truly care what the result is.

Personally, I think Clottey is going to win, I know I'm going to watch the fight, but in some ways I'm more excited about Alexander-Urango than I am about Pacquiao-Clottey. Plus, Pacquiao-Clottey is going to cost me close to $60 after taxes and fees.

With the testing controversy and being held at the Cowboys stadium I guess Arum thinks this is enough free promotion that he doesn't has to pay for. That undercard for that fight isn't particular an attention grabber

sadly the promotion does suck. i've only seen 1 vid from toprank...i wouldn't even call it great.

just the epic fail "near brawl" with mosley and mayweather and ellerbie falling on his ass overshadowed everything pac clottey.

doesn't mean no one knows about it, but again the promotion is subpar and weak.

First of all, it takes how long to properly develop a fighter? Would you say about 5 years, 6 years, 7 years? Something like that right?

Golden Boy has only been in existence for about 5 or 6 years. Second, Golden Boy has taken Abner Mares from day one to a title fight in May. That's developing a fighter right? They've essentially taken Danny Jacobs and Danny Garcia from day one to the brink of genuine contender status.

Point is, Golden Boy gets a little too much flack for not developing fighters. They've actually done a pretty good job of doing it when you consider they haven't been in the game very long and that building fighters up takes quite a long time.

they are not promoting the fight at all, to try to get any kind of PPV#s. Maybe they think the live gate #s mean something?

It's just because Clottey is not that known, If it would of been Pac VS Mosely and Mayweather vs Clottey then the tables would be turned. Mosely doesnt have the best fan base but he is known.
