"The Conteder" boxers are dumb

I like this show but it just doesnt seem right that the very first guy who lost may be the guy who wins it all and a million bucks. Think about that. The very first guy eliminated actually wins it?

The boxers are idiots for bringing Manfredo back. First off he was the biggest name there and the guy who everyone was talking about. He gets knocked off and everyone breathes a sign of relief but then thats the guy who you picked to bring back? Are you a idiot? If it was a show about real contenders and someone like Tszyu loses, do you think the fighters would pick him to come back? Why would you bring the most dangerous fighter there back? There were a few guys who had lost at the time that everyone knew had no real chance of going to the final but they picked to bring the most dangerous guy back. Some say they picked him because they were friends or because he was a good guy. Huh? This is for a million dollars you idiot. I dont care how good of a guy he is. If he is considered the top guy or one of the best then why would you bring him back. They all deserve what they got

This put a black eye on the show for me and I havent really been watching it all the time lately. It seems kind of ****ty that the guy who lost on the very first fight actually could win the whole thing

Yeah I think that whole process of bringing back fighters who lost is unfair to those who are eliminated and dont get another chance. But I think the shows management didnt expect what to do in case some fighters couldnt compete...I mean one guy kills himself and another gets the chicken pox!

They should have had a separate pool of 4 backup contenders who could fight each other for replacements into any openings in the primary group. That way no one gets unfair second chances.

But guess its too late now because they wont have another season.

I mean of all the criticisms that we can make of the show, I think Manfredo coming back is a pretty small one. First off, we dont see the whole fight any of the time- so we dont know what went down. Second, the five round thing was BS anyway- it is such a different strategy when you only have to go balls to the wall for five rounds- it is about whoever flails the fastest. I personally enjoy the show in spite of all this and will have no problem with Manfredo winning it all if he does. As a fan I am glad that he was brought back because this way we see the best fights we can- if the guys brought back some schlep then it would reduce the quality of the show even more I think.
