    Sturm vs Ouma at 160?

Ouma is one of my favorites but I was really impressed by Sturm in the DLH fight and he has been very good ever since. I think they should fight eachother because they are both looking for big names but no one is going to fight them any time soon. I like Ouma to break him down and get the win but I think it would be a great fight and Strum size and long arm jab may give Ouma alot of trouble.

    Who wins, why, and how?

I would pick Kassim in this fight over Sturm. They are both good fighters but Kassim just is so busy in there, he never seems to tire. Sturm can box with the best of them- controlling the fight with his jab, but Ouma is just a machine. He has a good chin (as evidenced against Philips and Kofi), a decent punch, and more energy then an energizer bunny. The only guy at 154 that could beat him is Winky, and the only guy at 160 is Hopkins and Winky. And none of those would be gimme's!

Dont like strum but i think he wins this one.Ive only seen Ouma a couple times, hes a great fighter ,but will probably get outboxed,at least kept at bay by strums Jab,ouma's great with all those punches, but if he cant land then it dont matter,So i see very little chance of him winnin.Strum by lopsuded UD.but I HOPE Im wrong

No way dude. You must havent seen Ouma enough. No body can stop him from landing. The guy is a lefty who throws a million punches, is fearless, has the heart of a lion, is hungry, and has great angles. That doesnt mean he will win but it definatly wouldnt be a lop sided decision for Sturm. Verno Phillips is a excellent boxer but he was dominated by Ouma. JC Candelo also was a good boxer who gave Winky alot of trouble and Ouma killed him. It wont be that easy to out box him and he will definatly land alot of punches

Completely agree, but he has to deal with a great Jab/Solid Defence/and someone who's gonna do alot of movement, the LAST thing Strum is gonna do is stand in front of ouma,I think Strums gonna be on the outside all night long,i dont know that out of those things you mentioned, that you can add great "boxer" or slick, maybe some of both of those on the inside, but in a fight against a slyck dude with a great Jab i dont give him much of a chance.

Sturm is a boxer and has a great defense but he is not really a mover. He basically stands in front you all night. He fights alot like Winky but I think he is less experienced and is a littile less skilled. Either way, I see Ouma being able to get inside or get angles and land but it would be interesting

Yeah i dont think he is greatly skilled, but stylewise it would be a bad matchup for ouma i think.I was basing strums evasive skills on that oscar fight,he did a great job of not letting oscar win rounds with a last minute flurry,so he can move when he needs to.Would love to see this tho,I'll be really impressed by ouma if he figures out Strum and gets past his jab.

Ouma wins because he is the busier fighter and would out hustle Sturm.
