So you don't think 147 is a struggle for Clottey? I think we all know he isn't going to win, but it's pretty obvious the dude has to drain himself to meet the WW stipulations.

That came out of Clotteys mouth like a month ago. Its been that way with him for years now. I didnt hear about Clottey for the first time in the Cotto fight like Pac fans did. Hes always had a struggle to make 147.

I do know Clottey was going to fight Michael Rosales in a January as a tune up. And, Mike Jones was going to have his tune up against Bruseles. And, then Jones and Clottey were going to fight each other in the spring/summer at 147... I think if he felt he is being drained. that fight would not of been talked about IMO..... And, when I first made a thread about that fight months ago... I didn't hear one person say Clottey is being "drained" at 147. But, now all of a sudden is not that he is struggling but he is "drained"...

But he is a top five WW today. And everybody struggles to make weight not just clottey. Except guys who fight very close to their walk around weight(which aren't so many).. So why are people talking like clottey is suffering and the only one doing it. it's still his best weight because at fight night he outweighs most WW's.
