I remember years ago on USA Network when they sponsored fights out of Florida.
The hometown boys always won. One of them was the undefeated Cowboy Don Shiver who - when he left Florida - was totally defeated by a young Mark Breland.
Are they really that corrupt down there? This decision was a joke!

Well if Florida has such a bad rep for giving out bad descisions why would ESPN decide to host their fight down there. Answer: Because they purposely want to display bull**** descisions. If Florida boxing commission is corrupt, who cares, fight in Louisiana then.

The really sad part is that Brown won the fight and now the best he can get is a rematch - which Bell probably won't give him.
But even if he does, Brown fought the fight of his life and now must throw the dice if he gets the rematch. He would have to prove all over again that he won't lose on cuts or be the victim of a lucky Bell early round power punch. He would have to fight the fight of his life again.
Brown just fought too good of a fight and everyone but the judges seems to think he won.
Just doesn't seem right.

yeah I feel bad for the guy...he fought his heart out and won the fight...now he just goes back to being the guy who fails in his opportunity to win the world title...thing is, Brown did not fail...the judges failed HIM...
