Is Manny taking Clottey too lightly?

I haven't seen or heard anything of Manny taking it easy in preparing for the fight.
But the other day on my way to work I see the sign showing future events says Manny Pacquiao Concert and Victory Celebration. WTF? That's a lot of confidence when you haven't even fought yet. I know he had a concert after Cotto but I don't think they were billing as a victory celebration.
I think Pac will win but it might not be as easy as his team thinks. Does anyone think an upset might happen?

I don't really see an upset happening. Clottey isn't going to win a decision if its close or knock Manny out. The only way he upsets Pacquiao if he completely dominates him.

an upset is possible though it would be a surprise.

a tougher fight than expected is quite likely with clottey's high guard.

i can see manny punching himself out too. you know manny the guy just punches non-stop. you never know......bigger upsets has happened.

manny had a concert and victory celebration planned against cotto too. i just think manny's a confident fighter period. if anything, it's probably roach who's taking clottey lightly. all he seems interested in is talking about mayweather, or other ppl he's gonna do physical harm to when he sees them. anytime somebody asks roach about clottey tho, his answer is simple, "we're gonna knock him out," even though clottey has never been KO'ed, and has a great chin.......

manny's a creature of habit, i don't see him easing up, no matter who he's training for. roach is getting old, and increasingly says ****** **** that makes you scratch your head, so i'd be more worried about the dope coach overlooking clottey, if anybody.

I can see a KD but I don't see a KO. A TKO is a possibly if towards the end Clottey gets discouraged with Pacs speed and volume.

Good post, I agree with what you think. Roach does need to shut up(i still respect him as a trainer), he was one of the main reasons this blood testing story got out of hand.

I doubt it. People on this site are, but they're not fighting him. Pac is, and he's smart enough not to sleep on Clottey. Pac always comes ready for war, he won't take Clottey for granted.

Why shouldn't Pac be confident the entire event is rigged in his favor.
