Not sure, but for sure Oscar had a lot more following than Shane, which is why they did over 2mil.

These fights were bigger than this fight. This fight is equal to Pacman vs Cotto. Trinidad fights were between the tow best undefeated fighters in the weight class, and Roy mad history beating a heavyweight. This fight is like De la hoya vs Floyd #1.
wait, did u just say rjj vs. ruiz was a big fight? i might have agreed if you left that out (except for the fact those other two fights didnt happen in the last 10yrs)...but nything with ruiz in it does not qualify as a big fight.

C'mon, think man. Floyd will get PPV buys on the basis that he's such a circus attraction, as well as a boxing attraction. We all know people are drawn to controversy and controversial figures!

Howard Stern and Jerry Springer started this way back when, Dennis Rodman as well, and many others followed suit in creating controversy to market themselves.

Pac by nature is quiet, soft-spoken and to top it off he's fighting Clottey , another soft-spoken gentleman who doesn't trash talk and has little or no fan base, and this alone will determine the y

Has little to do with greatness really.

If you wanna know that, we all know who the BWAA , Ring Magazine, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Sugar Ray Leonard, Joshua Clottey, George Foreman, Roberto Duran, Michael Moorer, Timothy Bradley, Bernard Hopkins, Chad Dawson, Winky Wright, Joe Goosen, Jose Luis Castillo, Juanma Lopez, Joe Calzaghe, V. Klitchko, Larry Holmes, etc., and most boxing trainers, writers, pundits in the sport pick as # 1.

if ODLH v May couldn't hit the 3 mark, shane as floyds dance partner won't even cut past odlh v may, maybe close.
