I don't know what Clottey will have up his sleeve, but to think that Pac's been around the block many times and has fought so many great fighters, plus the fact that he has Roach in his corner, plus the fact that he has the speed and power at welterweight with what we saw he did to Cotto, ... I would say he would have to have a very bad day and for Clottey to have a very good day for him to even possibly lose to Clottey.
Sorry for the long sentence. I guess in short , I'm saying, nope!
I don't know man, I just think these welter are too big for Manny. It's the kind of fight that i'll be biting my fingers hoping that Manny will come up with the win.
I do believe that if clottey gets lucky to land his punches and hurt pac early in the fight then he has a great chance to upset pac, but other than that i could see pac using his speed for the whole 12 rounds to win a UD.
I'm really hoping this doesn't happen but I can see Clottey, taking the opportunity he's getting, transforming into a punch happy little-to-no-defense type.
New trainer, new opportunities, who knows what Clottey has in store.
If I was in Clottey's shoe I would risk it all and flip my style up, I mean i'm already a big underdog base on my style. If I win, more windows open.
But if Clottey is the same old Joshua, then it's over for him.
