Good assessment. Pacquiao moves in forward throwing punches then exits out the side, he will win but I think Clottey is a bigger threat than Cotto.

Pretty much, I don't care whether or not Clottey really hurt his hand against Margarito, because it wouldn't have mattered. He could not deal with Margarito constantly coming forward and punching, Margarito had him trapped at some points as well. Pacquiao may not have Margarito's punch output, but he will probably have Clottey trapped in the later rounds. With all that speed and all those punching angles, Clottey will get hit flush more than in the past.

I expect Pacquiao to pull a similar performance or style that he used against Diaz who had similar defense although not as tight but very similar. He's gonna keep moving and using angles to sneak in around Clottey's guard. After Clottey's taken enough shots and is weakened, possibly lowering his hands, Pac gonna go in for the kill.

Pac does not walk backwards. Look at pac vs marquez. Your assuming pacquiao is going to be on the defense and thats just not his style. He is good because of his aggressiveness.

he fought off his back foot for stretches vs diaz, hatton, cotto and DLH. fighting off your back foot doesnt automatically make you a defensive fighter. fighting offf your back foot makes it easier to set traps, fill holes, turn your opponent, walk em into shots and give angles. manny boxes in circles now, not straight lines.
